Back at it
Confession time: After I ran my marathon (nov 6th) I took it easy for a while… very easy.. I did not work out at all, not even once: until yesterday.
A few things pushed me to this a) my clothes have been fitting differently, b) my energy has dipped c) some loved ones have not so subtly mentioned that I look softer…
I did a weights workout yesterday that consisted of super sets of the following:
20lbs Bicep 21s
Static weighted lunges (30lbs)
Bent over rows
Bench Press
Squats
Stiff Legged Dead Lifts
Lat Pulldowns
a few ab workouts..
It was very hard, and pretty clear that I’ve lost some strength. Today, I am very sore, and I love it. That old familiar feeling of pain and accomplishment.
Time to go back to the old regiment!
