I had a great workout today. It is a cold and gray day in my city and the walk to the gym was miserable and wet. On top of that I was feeling very ‘why bother’ about life.. it wasn’t a very cheerful morning.
THEN - I had a great upper body workout. I walked out of the gym feeling centered, balanced and kind of at peace with the world. It is amazing what weights can do for your mental health. It surprises me every time.
My workout consisted of mostly super sets..everything is done 3 x 15 reps
1) Bicep 21’s (20lb bar)
with - 10lb free weight shoulder presses
2) Dumbell single arm bent over rows (20lbs)
with - 20lb barbell scull crushers
3) Bench press (45lbs)
with - 5lb tricep rotations
4) I finished off with a seated row - 50lbs.

It was great. Monday I did legs and I am still limping from that.
